My way of expediting is usually done by getting on my bike after work, right before sunset, i'd plan a a location to visit and there i'd set up my gear and start taking photos!

The whole world in your hands
Situated on the intersection of two main roads - the King's Road and a road leading to the royal airport, the globe roundabout is one of the many landmarks found in Jeddah. It's made out of steel and glass and designed by Julio Lafuente, a Spanish artist and architect who created almost two dozen works of art for the city.
Unfortunately a friend who accompanied me on this trip lost his car and home keys, i guess i have to bring out the guest bed!
Anyways such a beautiful art piece don't you think?

The love boat
After coming back from a full day of island hoping in Palawan Philippines, at the shore was this fisher mans hut, parked outside was his boat where he'd take it out each morning for the days catch!
From afar there was a storm coming in, it was mid summer and it happened to rain.

GettaWay
While island hoping in the Palawan Islands, one of the stops was named Snake Island because it was shaped like one.
In the morning, lots of other island hoppers would pass by and enjoy a couple of hours under the sun either snorkeling and feeding the fish or laying around enjoying a beer or two.
At night, if you choose to stay behind and get picked up the next day, you have the island for you and the other island night sleepers. There is no electricity, just a bun fire with people gathered around, barbequing exchanging conversation, having a drink, playing the guitar singing till the sun comes up, with total serenity. However the next day i had to catch a plane back to manila so that we could go to our next destination... I’m defiantly going back, and I think you should too! Don't you think ?

Musical sunset
So continuing my expediting blog we passed by another beautiful landmark here in Jeddah. It's a collection of pipes that resembles musical organs.
It's mid summer, hot and humid, so you can imagine the amount of body water being lost! As well it was a gloomy afternoon, and the skies were dark and yellow. However the afterglow was spectacular.
The colors were just wonderful, don't you think?

Rocket
So I've decided to show you all some of the beautiful landmarks where i currently live.
I live in a Saudi city located in the middle of the Eastern coast of the Red Sea known as the 'Bride of the Red Sea' and is considered the economic and tourism capital of the country. Its population is estimated around 3.4 million and it is the second largest city after Riyadh.
Here in Jeddah are filled with amazing art pieces that were once given by famous artists. Due to population growth and traffic, the city is going through a major re-structuring stage, this rocket landmark was taken right by my house, were it used to be located at a round-about, but was recently moved because a bridge is being built in its place.
